Grab a ticket to view the spectacular Paisley Halloween Festival parade from the comfort of our covered grandstand seating area. 

Round up your little monsters, gather your boo-crew and get ready for a wickedly good weekend as Paisley Halloween Festival returns on Friday 23 October from 4pm and Saturday 24 October from 2pm, transforming Paisley town centre into a playground packed with thrills, chills and family fun.

From the dazzling parade and eerie street performances to spectacular light shows and fairground fun, there will be something to entertain every ghost, ghoul and goblin no matter their age!

The ever-popular Halloween parade, which is inspired by the theme of Haunted House, will creep through the town centre from 7pm each evening, travelling along Mill Street to give even more spectators the chance to enjoy the spectacle. Expect Halloween favourites like Frankenstein, mad scientists, illuminated umbrella monsters, magical sea creatures and much more!

Visitors can expect spine-chilling performances from returning favourites including Spark! LED Drummers and Uncle Doom and his Organ of Gloom, alongside brand-new acts such as the wonderfully whacky racing grannies, Granny Turismo, majestic Ember the Dragon, and the enchanting magical mobile worlds created by internationally acclaimed Show Globes.

The parade will take in Smithhills St, Gauze St, Mill St, Bridge St, Cotton St, Gauze St, Gilmour Place and the route will take approximately 60mins from start to finish. 

Opening times: 

Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October 2026
Access to the grandstand seating area will open at 5.30pm, ticket holders should be seated by 6.00pm to enjoy the pre-parade shows.
Pre-parade entertainment for ticket holders from 6.00pm. 
Ticket allows wrist-banded access, open from 5.30pm - with ticket-holders able to come and go throughout on the evening purchased (Friday or Saturday). Please note any items including valuables or bags must not be left unattended in the grandstand seating area and will be removed. 


Ticket-holders will enjoy:

A covered seat in the grandstand with a fantastic view of the parade. Please note seating is unreserved.
A complimentary hot drink and baked good of your choice from Coffee Mill.*Please collect your wristband and hospitality token from the grandstand seating area on arrival and then present this at Coffee Mill (adjacent to the Grandstand seating area).
Pre-parade shows hosted by Go Radio's Zoe Kelly,from 6.00pm featuring:

Pete Anderson – internationally renowned street performer whose claim to fame is his incredible feat of climbing a towering 10ft freestanding ladder, backwards, in a kilt! 
Missy Impossible danger-fuelled street show, featuring audience interaction, humour, and sword-swallowing.


What to expect:

The parade leaves its starting point at 7.00pm and takes approximately 60mins to complete its route around the town centre. The parade will pass the Grandstand seating area between approximately 7.30pm - 7.45pm. Our host will keep you informed as to when the parade is approaching. 
Pre parade entertainment will run from 6.00 - 7.30pm.
Wrist-banded access open from 5.30pm, with ticket-holders able to come and go throughout (wristbands provided after initial ticket check). Please note any items including valuables or bags must not be left unattended in the grandstand seating area and will be removed. 
The parade is suitable for all ages and takes place outdoors. 
The grandstand seating area is covered; However, we encourage all attendees to dress for the weather with warm, waterproof clothing and suitable footwear/bring a blanket. 

Maximum of 10 tickets per order. Please present your ticket on arrival. You can use your paperless ticket on any mobile device. Printed tickets are also accepted. 

Child tickets: 

Children aged 2 years and under don’t require a ticket if sitting on parent, or guardian's, lap. 
Children aged 3 – 15 years require a ticket and must be accompanied by a paying adult. 
Prams and car seats are not allowed in the grandstand seating area, there is a dedicated covered buggy park available next to the grandstand seating area. Items are left in this area at your own risk. 


Toilets & facilities: 

Toilets including baby change and accessible toilets are available nearby. 
A quiet space marquee is available nearby. 
There will be a mobile Changing Places toilet located on Cotton St. 

Food & drink: 

Food & drink can be brought into the grandstand seating area. A variety of delicious food, drink and treats are available to purchase throughout the event site.

Accessibility:

Please note the grandstand seating is not accessible. However, a free to enter, covered, ground level, accessible viewing area is available next to the seating area. Please contact events@renfrewshire.gov.uk for more information on accessible viewing.
