Watch England’s opening 2026 FIFA World Cup group-stage fixture against Croatia from one of Liverpool’s standout waterfront spaces.

The event gives supporters the chance to come together at The Yard, Dock on 1 at Hill Dickinson Stadium, watching England on the big screen as they begin their World Cup campaign against familiar tournament opposition.

With stunning evening views across the River Mersey as dusk turns into night, The Yard offers a unique setting to enjoy the atmosphere of a major international tournament from one of Hill Dickinson Stadium’s premium spaces.

Croatia will provide a high-quality opening test for England, bringing major tournament experience, technical quality and a proud recent record on the international stage. They have also provided the Three Lions with difficult tournament memories in recent years, most notably the 2018 World Cup semi-final, when England suffered extra-time heartbreak in Moscow. For England, this opening fixture is a chance to make a strong start, build early momentum and lay down a marker in the tournament.
