The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Celebration of Life Concert

Forty years ago, Hasbro made a choice. This July, we're throwing THE party to make up for it.

Roll out for an unforgettable night of music, nostalgia, and fandom as THE APOLOGY TOUR rolls into San Diego Comic-Con with THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 40th Anniversary Celebration of Life Concert...the send-off a certain Autobot leader probably should've gotten the first time around. On Thursday, July 23, 2026, at House of Blues San Diego, we're raising a glass to four decades of the landmark animated film, the hero at the center of it, and the soundtrack that helped turn this film into a cultural phenomenon.

Experience live performances from KNIGHTS OF UNICRON, playing music from THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE: THE SOUNDTRACK: THE REFORMATTED EDITION, plus special appearances by Stan Bush, performing his legendary anthem "The Touch"; Vince DiCola, composer of the film's unforgettable score; Cold Slither, back on stage after last year's live Comic-Con debut with the loud, rebellious sound straight out of the world of G.I. JOE; and Britta Phillips, the original singing voice of Jem from JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS.

Packed with the music fans never forgot, special guests, exclusive merch, and surprises still to be announced, this one-night-only tribute brings generations of fans together to honor a hero, relive the moment, and prove that some legends really are More Than Meets the Eye.

General Admission and VIP tickets are available now. VIP ticket holders get early admission to a private party, early access to concert merch, premium concert viewing, and an exclusive commemorative gift bag to mark the 40th anniversary (pick-up at check-in).
