The Glasgow Duo is bringing Paris to Glasgow!
📅 SAVE THE DATE - join us on the 13th September for an exciting programme: 'L’Esprit de Paris – The Music of Les Six and French Film', exploring the soundworld of 1920s–1950s France, from film music to Satie and his influence on Les Six. Joyful, witty and at times brooding, it centres on Milhaud’s dazzling 'Le Boeuf sur le Toit', originally conceived to accompany a silent Charlie Chaplin film.
The renowned Scottish violin and piano duo will perform a variety of works featuring music by Milhaud, Honegger, Satie, Poulenc and Gershwin.
