Our summer Race Weekend brings together the MTB community for a full weekend of friendly competition, progression and good times. Saturday kicks off with the ever popular Mini Shredders Race for the next generation of riders aged 12 and under, while the older riders can get their practice runs in for Sunday's Mates Race. Then Sunday it's game on for the Mates Race, where riders aged 12 and over take to the track.
Expect fun racing, a supportive atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to ride, spectate and soak up the Havok vibes. We're proud to keep things grassroots, fun and welcoming - no pressure, no high-tech race setup, just great trails, great people and great racing.
Whether you're racing, riding, supporting or simply coming along for the weekend social, this is what community mountain biking is all about.
MINI SHREDDERS RACE
Read and adhere to all Havok Bike Park rules (these can be rs aged 12 and under, this grassroots race is all about giving young riders the chance to build confidence, race their mates and be part of the Havok atmosphere. Whether it’s their first ever race or they’re already chasing podiums, every rider is welcome.
This round will take place on Gurns In The Berms (Top Section Blue), offering fast turns, fun features and plenty of opportunities for riders to push themselves while keeping things fun and supportive.
Date: Saturday 6th June 2026
Sign-In: 9:00am – 11:00am
Track walks: 9:00am - 10:00am
Practice: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Uplift: 10:00am – 11:30am, then from 12:30pm for race runs
Race Starts: 1:00pm
Categories will be organised nearer the time once entries are confirmed, and all riders will be kept informed throughout the day.
As always at Havok, expect relaxed vibes, community support, and plenty of encouragement both on and off the hill.
MATES RACE
The Havok Mates Race is all about good people, good riding and proper grassroots racing. Open to riders aged 12 and over, this is a relaxed but competitive race format designed to bring riders together for a full day on the hill. Whether you’re racing for the podium or just for the laughs with your mates, expect a supportive atmosphere, plenty of banter and classic Havok chaos throughout the day.
Rather than a fixed race track, the course will be specially mapped and marked out using sections of our full hill trails, creating a unique race run built specifically for the event. More details on the exact route will be released during the week leading up to Race Weekend.

Sign-In: 9:00am – 11:00am
Track Walks: 9:00am - 10:00am
Practice: 10:00am – 12:00pm

No big race setup, no pressure — just a proper grassroots day of racing with the Havok crew.
TICKETS & ENTRY
All riders attending the event must have a valid ticket. Tickets will be scanned at the Sign-In Hut on arrival.

Tickets are available online in advance and will also be available to purchase on the day from the Sign-In Hut, subject to availability.
Anyone bringing a bike into the park must have a valid ticket. Spectators on foot are welcome free of charge and do not require a ticket.
⚠️ Riders entered into the Mates Race who wish to attend Saturday for practice runs will need to purchase a standard day pass on arrival at the Sign-In Hut. There will be no bikes allowed on tracks between 9:00am-10:00am and between 1:00pm-2:00pm as this time is dedicated to track walks.
Rider Requirements & Park Rules
All riders must:
Complete a Havok Bike Park Disclaimer before riding
Read and adhere to all Havok Bike Park rules (these can be found on our website and social media platforms)
Wear a full face helmet and knee pads as a minimum requirement
⚠️ Helmets and pads must be brought to the Sign-In Hut during sign-in as kit checks will be carried out before riding.
Under 16s
Riders under 16 must be signed in by a parent/guardian on their first visit
Riders under 14 must have a parent/guardian on site at all times
Riders aged 12 and under entering the Mini Shredders Race may be accompanied by a chaperone during the race, however the chaperone must have a valid rider ticket
Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal to ride.

Race Weekend Riding Information
Please be aware that during the Race Weekend, the majority of trails will be closed at various points for race use, track walks, practice sessions and event operations.
We have included a Weekend Rider Pass (Non-Racing) option for anyone attending to support racers, tow riders up the fire road, or accompany Mini Shredders during race runs.
Anyone riding within the park during the event must hold a valid rider ticket and continue to follow all normal bike park rules and safety requirements.
For those towing riders up the fire road, please ensure you remain aware of uplift operations at all times and do not obstruct the fire road while the uplift truck is running. We ask everyone to ride respectfully and work together to help the event run smoothly and safely for all riders and spectators.
Further information regarding trail access and closures will be communicated throughout the weekend.
