South Summit ‘RUN IT BACK’ New Zealand Tour | Wellington

<p><br></p><p>South Summit are soon to release their sophomore album, <strong><em>RUN IT BACK</em></strong> on <strong>June 12</strong> and to celebrate, they have announced <strong><em>RUN IT BACK NZ TOUR.</em></strong></p><p>Coming to Aotearoa this July and August the band will take on <strong>Queenstown</strong> hotspot <strong>Yonder&nbsp;</strong>on <strong>Thursday 30 July</strong>, <strong>The Loons, Lyttleton</strong> on <strong>Friday 31 July</strong>,<strong>&nbsp;San Fran, Wellington</strong> on <strong>Saturday 1 August</strong> and <strong>Auckland</strong>&rsquo;s<strong>&nbsp;Double Whammy&nbsp;</strong>on <strong>Sunday 2 August.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><em>Run It Back&nbsp;</em>marks the band&#39;s second album, featuring stand out singles <strong>&lsquo;TOP OF THE HILL&rsquo;</strong> and<strong>&nbsp;&lsquo;ON THE DASH&rsquo;</strong> which have sent strong signals toward the confident evolution of their sound. The twelve-track record&nbsp; represents a period of experimentation for the band; one where they found themselves pulled towards threads of funk, hip hop and R&amp;B, while also driven by a desire to galvanise their signature blend of reggae and rock.</p><p>In 2024, they released their highly anticipated debut album <strong><em>The Bliss</em></strong>, a reggae-infused indie rock record that showcased both tight songwriting and a willingness to experiment across styles. It debuted at <strong>#2</strong> on the <strong>ARIA Album Charts</strong> and propelled the band into a new tier, with heavy <strong>Triple J</strong> support, major festival slots and international touring, including appearances at <strong>Falls Festival, Groovin The Moo</strong>, <strong>SXSW Sydney</strong>,<strong>&nbsp;Vivid LIVE Debut</strong> at the <strong>Sydney Opera House&nbsp;</strong>plus a huge Australasian headline tour.</p><p>After a recent visit to Aotearoa to play at <strong>Six 60</strong>&rsquo;s new Country &amp; Roots Festival <strong><em>Sweet Home Aotearoa</em></strong>, South Summit now return to New Zealand for their third headline tour in the country. These four shows promise the bands&rsquo; renowned live charisma and classic fan favourites, whilst welcoming fans into a brand new era.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p style="margin: 0cm; font-size: 15px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">San Fran holds a <strong>Supervised License</strong>, meaning minors are welcome to attend events at San Fran so long as they are accompanied by a<strong>&nbsp;legal guardian</strong> at all times whilst at the venue. Minors are of course not allowed to purchase alcohol under any circumstance.</span></p><p><br></p>
