Netball - Performance Pathway Trials - NXT Gen/NXT Gen Development 2026/27

 
The Nottingham Forest Pathway is one of the providers of the England Netball Performance Pathway. We are focused and working closely with England netballs framework to provide opportunities to the next generation of netballers within our region. We aspire to build strong connections with the community to work together to deliver an elite environment that allows development and growth over all age groups.
Our Pathway Trials aim to select talented netball athletes, with aspirations of one day becoming a Nottingham Forest Super League Player.

NXT Gen
Offers will be given to players in advance of trials. Trials will take place for the remaining places in the squad or as training partners. 

NXT Gen Development
Our NXT Gen Development squad aims to to bridge the gap between NPL and NXT Gen. Opportunities will be given to NXT Gen Development players to train alongside NXT Gen throughout the season. They will also play matches against other franchise development squads.

Eligibility - NXT Gen
Each franchise can register 5 players who are over 23. The remaining squad will be U23

Eligibility - NXT Gen Development
Open aged but aimed at U21s.

Thursday 17th September - 18:00-21:00

Plain t-shirt
Plain bottoms
Please do not wear club, county, school of franchise kit.

What to bring
Plenty of fluid, snack, sweat towel, any strapping and tapping you need
