Mr. and Mrs. Kabal arrive at an abandoned theater where ordinary performances quickly give way to a world governed by dreams. Created by Walerian Borowczyk and Jan Lenica during the height of the Polish animation movement, the film helped establish both artists as leading figures in postwar experimental animation.
