EYP Canada presents MEHFIL is coming to Vancouver! MEHFIL is a live music collective dedicated to celebrating the rich musical traditions of Punjab and the broader South Asian diaspora while embracing beloved songs from every generation. Rooted in authenticity and musicianship, MEHFIL brings together and popular influences to create performances that resonate across age groups and cultural backgrounds. Inspired by the traditional spirit of a mehfil, a gathering centered on music, storytelling, and connection. The group creates an atmosphere where audiences can experience every nuance of the performance, from the pluck of the mandolin and the resonance of the esraj to the rhythm of the tabla and the warmth of the guitar. The band features Raja (vocals), Jashan (mandolin), Kabir (tabla and esraj), and AJ (guitar). Doors 7:00PM. Show 8:00PM. Times are subjected to change. No in/out privileges.
