Mathias Lattin

Mathias Lattin is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Houston Texas. He found a love and appreciation for blues took his talents and work ethic from his Jazz training and at 20 years of age in Memphis, TN won the International Blues Challenge (the IBC) against 200 artists from across the crowning him the youngest to EVER win this award, and doubling down was awarded best blues guitarist as well. Only 3 other people have ever been awarded both titles at one time in the 48 years of the competition. He has toured the world and played in front of people such as Buddy Guy, Jimmy Vaughn, Eric Gales, Samantha Fish Kingfish Ingram Now at 24 years old, Mathias is known as one of the new young BLACK blues artists leading the charge in a next generation of blues. Signed to a new label, Red Zero, a label specifically designed for the generation of blues artist to have a home, where Mathias is set to release his second studio album.
