Tchaikovsky & Brahms Intensity and vulnerability shape this deeply expressive program, pairing two monumental works of emotional breadth. Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by the world-renowned pianist Roman Rabinovich, unfolds as a sweeping symphonic dialogue, where surging force gives way to moments of tenderness and lyric beauty. Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, "Pathétique" follows with aching introspection and passion, tracing an emotional path that is intimate, expansive and profoundly moving.
