Discover how easy and rewarding it is to grow your own garlic in Minnesota. In this class, you'll learn which garlic varieties thrive in our climate, the growing conditions they need for success, and the best techniques for planting, caring for, and harvesting both flavorful scapes and bulbs. This class is offered by the U of M Extension Garden Education Volunteers of Ramsey County, who are eager to share research-based gardening best practices with the people in their community.
Instructor: Ramsey County Garden Educators
Cost: $5/free for co-op owners
This class will be offered online via the Zoom app so you won't have to leave your house. After registration, an email link to join this presentation through Zoom will be emailed to you as well as a handout that we will be using in the class. Please plan to connect to the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes early to troubleshoot the technology and get settled in before class starts.
