Dropkick, from Edinburgh, Scotland are returning to to celebrate the release of their new album, Throughlines, (Rock Indiana Records/ Hurrah! Musica) It's Dropkick’s most accomplished, varied and concise collection of songs, featuring ten new powerful, jangly guitar-orientated songs, showcasing their ear for melody, harmony and arrangement.
Dropkick have released countless albums across well over a decade, collaborating mainly with cult labels in Spain, such as Pretty Olivia Records, Rock Indiana Records, Hurrah! Musica and Bobo Integral Records. Their well-received 2025 album, PrimaryColours, saw the three-piece band highlight their multi-instrumental talents. Throughlines adds to the rich sonic palette with additional string performances from renowned UK singer/songwriter and producer, Alex Cornish.
Main songwriter, Andrew Taylor, is also one half of cult Spanish/Scottish collaboration, The Boys with the Perpetual Nervousness. Dropkick have a track record of playing festivals and venues across the UK such as Belladrum, Edinburgh Fringe, Glasgow Americana and Truck Festival. They’ve also played many headline shows in Spain, France, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
Dropkick’s music has also received regular airplay on BBC Radio in UK and across major radio networks in Europe, as well as achieving consistently positive press.
