Written after the unimaginable loss of his 16-year old son Dorian, who passed away in a freak car accident, the 12-track album explores themes of grief and soulsearching and features guest performances by longtime friends and collaborators including Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, The Flaming Lips and Jason Schwartzman’s highly acclaimed mid-aughts musical project Coconut Records. Raised outside of Dallas, Texas, Ben Kweller first landed on the scene in the late-90s with his grunge band Radish. Cementing himself as one of the defining voices of early-2000s rock with his solo debut release Sha Sha, he further solidified his reputation as a gifted writer on albums On My Way (2004) and Changing Horses (2009) before earning a GRAMMY® nomination for 2012 release Go Fly A Kite.

Bringing his sincerity and songcraft to stages across the globe, Kweller has gone on to tour with world-class acts including Bright Eyes, Kings of Leon, Death Cab for Cutie, Bleachers, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, The Strokes, and Ed Sheeran. Kweller’s influence remains today with Jack Antanoff stating “Ben Kweller is one of the great American songwriters.”
