Who: Students in 2nd through 6th grades
When: Saturdays, 9:00 am - 10:00 am; September 5th through November 14th, with a showcase on the last day of class. (No class on October 17th for Fall Break.)
Cost: $225, all materials included.

Step onstage for performance! Acting & Theater Arts is the actors’ side of the theatrical enterprise. This semester-long course is recommended for students in 2nd through 6th grades who are interested in studying and experiencing the performance aspects of theater through ensemble work and individual scenes. Students will develop their confidence, performance skills, and stage presence. The course will cultivate a sense of dedication to craft, respect for fellow artists, and joy in performing. The classes will culminate in a showcase presentation of all the students’ talent & hard work on November 14th at 10:15 am
New and experienced actors are all welcome! Skills students will develop during this course:
Ensemble building and nurturing
Movement and gesture
Performance skills, including vocal skills and physical presence
Collaborative storytelling
Observation and listening
An understanding of theatre terms and technologies
