Make music together as you sing your heart out and learn with area students! 

Fridays, August 21–December 4 | 1–2PM | Starting at $204 (includes all 13 classes, sheet music to keep,
a folder, and performance opportunities)

Dates: 8/21, 8/28, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, **10/30 (make-up date, if needed), 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4 **13 class dates with one extra/make-up in case of instructor cancelation due to emergency or illness.

Come sing, learn, and laugh with the Academy Homeschool chorus. Build real music skills like reading music from around the world, training your ear, and singing confidently with new friends. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned singer, find your voice here — and maybe a cookie or two from Ms. Ariel!

You will:
· Establish and improve foundational music-reading and ear-training skills
· Perform selections from a variety of genres and cultures
· Work as a team to harmonize and create a balanced ensemble sound
· Apply proper singing technique, breath support, and vocal control

With over a decade of teaching experience, instructor Ariel Stehura brings excellence and creativity to award-winning choirs of all ages with a joyful atmosphere where musicians thrive. After earning her bachelor of music education with a choral emphasis from Bowling Green State University, she taught students K–12 throughout Ohio. She brought excellence, discipline, creativity, and joy to choirs of all ages. The choirs showed excellence over the years, winning multiple awards at the district, regional, and state levels, but her biggest accomplishment was creating a family atmosphere where her choristers built their confidence and felt safe being themselves. She has taken a large interest in child development and has hands-on experience working with children of all abilities through Interlochen Center for the Arts.
